This privacy policy applies to the AI Hairstyle Try On app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Metehan Gurgentepe (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
- The pages or features of the Application that you use, the time and date of your use, and the time spent in the Application
- The operating system you use on your mobile device
- Crash logs, diagnostic data, and app performance information
- Photos that you choose to upload or capture for hairstyle try-on features
- Generated hairstyle images and related app preferences, if you choose to save them
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Face Data Collection
The Application may collect and process face data only when you voluntarily choose to take a photo with the camera or select a photo from your photo library for the hairstyle try-on feature. The face data may include the visible image of your face, hair, head shape, facial outline, skin tone, hairline, and facial position contained in the photo. The Application does not collect Face ID data, biometric identifiers, faceprints, face geometry templates, or data used to uniquely identify or authenticate a person.
Use of Face Data
Face data is used only to provide the hairstyle try-on functionality requested by the user. Planned uses include detecting the head and hair area in the selected photo, aligning hairstyle previews to the user's face and head position, generating hairstyle and hair color previews, displaying the generated result in the Application, allowing the user to save or share the generated result if they choose, preventing abuse, debugging failed generation requests, and maintaining service security. Face data is not used for user identification, authentication, tracking, advertising, profiling, sale, or unrelated analytics.
Third-Party AI Processing, Sharing, and Consent
To generate hairstyle try-on results, the Application may transmit the user-selected photo, including the visible face and hair area in that photo, to Google Gemini AI. The transmitted data is limited to the image selected by the user and technical request data required to return the generated hairstyle result. The Service Provider does not sell face data. Google Gemini AI is required to process the image only to provide the requested AI result and to protect the data with the same or equivalent confidentiality and security protections described in this Privacy Policy.
Before any photo containing face data is sent to Google Gemini AI, the Application must request the user's permission in the app and explain that the selected photo will be sent to Google Gemini AI for AI hairstyle generation. If the user does not grant permission, the photo will not be sent to Google Gemini AI and the AI hairstyle generation feature may not be available.
Face Data Storage
Photos and face data selected for AI hairstyle generation may be temporarily transmitted to and processed on secure servers operated by the Service Provider or Google Gemini AI. The Service Provider does not permanently store uploaded photos or face data on its servers for identification or authentication purposes. Generated hairstyle results may be stored locally on the user's device. If the Application offers a saved history, favorites, cloud sync, support, or backup feature, generated results or related metadata may be stored only to provide that user-requested feature.
Face Data Retention and Deletion
Uploaded photos and face data are retained only for the time necessary to generate the hairstyle result, deliver the result to the Application, maintain security, debug failed requests, and comply with legal obligations. The Service Provider's intended retention period for uploaded photos and face data is no longer than 24 hours after processing is complete, unless a longer period is required by law, needed to investigate abuse or security issues, or the user explicitly saves generated results in the Application. Users may delete locally saved generated results from the Application, and may request deletion of User Provided Data by contacting metehangurgentepe@gmail.com.
Photo, Camera, and AI Processing
The Application may request access to your camera and photo library so you can upload or capture images for hairstyle try-on results. Photos are used to generate hairstyle previews and related AI-powered results. The Service Provider does not use your photos for unrelated purposes and does not sell your photos. Images submitted for processing are used only to provide the requested result, obtain user-requested hairstyle previews, improve security, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.
Personal Data
The Application may process information that you provide directly, such as support messages, subscription status, purchase information, saved preferences, and generated hairstyle results. If the Application offers account, backup, or history features, related data may be stored to provide those features.
Third Party Access
Only data necessary to operate, analyze, protect, or monetize the Application is transmitted to external services. The Service Provider may share information with third-party providers only as described in this Privacy Policy. Third-party providers may include analytics, crash reporting, payment/subscription, cloud hosting, and Google Gemini AI image processing services.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, prevent abuse, or respond to a government request;
- with trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to protect the information.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or through the mobile application marketplace. You may also choose not to grant camera, photo library, or Google Gemini AI processing permission; however, hairstyle generation features may not work without those permissions.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Temporary photo, face data, and AI processing data is retained only as long as needed to provide the service, operate security controls, debug failed requests, meet legal obligations, or resolve support issues. If you would like to request deletion of User Provided Data that you have provided through the Application, please contact the Service Provider at metehangurgentepe@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at metehangurgentepe@gmail.com.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and uses reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained by the Application. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify users of changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent
By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider. By selecting a photo and confirming the in-app AI processing permission, you consent to the transmission and processing of that selected photo, including visible face data, only for AI hairstyle try-on generation.
